Then you might be interested in the position of Im/Exp & Sales Executive position at VIEC in Nijmegen – the Netherlands.


VIEC is looking for an entrepreneurial and vibrant Sales Executive overseeing the Vietnamese market as a whole. It’s a significant hands-on role, with a clear focus on direct sales execution towards customers and prospects for our product portfolio of ALL VIEC’s PRODUCT CATEGORIES as such: Confectionary; Clothing; Infant and children nutrition foods; Beer; Wine and more. The position requires a self starter mentality in an environment where good communications skills, perseverance and creativity are key elements. The ideal candidate has proven experience in delivering market share growth and financial sales commitments.

Working by VIEC for this function you will have a business telephone (iPhone); a business laptop (Macbook); Pension; Good commission regulation. 

Primary responsibilities

  • Maximise market opportunities across the Vietnamese market
  • Deliver on agreed sales targets and action plans via distributors and B2B
  • Develop impactful and coordinated actions aimed at increasing customer engagement
  • Build relationships with top customers in order to increase sales volumes
  • Collaborate with internal business partners on actively leveraging the product portfolio and drive sales
  • Monitor the market and gather competitive intelligence on new strategies, industry tactics, and opportunities for business growth.
  • Logistics management for projects 


The Sales Executive reports directly to the Director of VIEC and will work out of our Nijmegen office. This position in based on a fulltime or part-time (max. 0,6 fte) equivalent.

Qualifications and experience

  • Work experience in a commercial role (direct sales) is a must, preferably in the B2B business
  • Excellent command of the Vietnamese language. Dutch and English are a plus
  • Proven sales track record combined with a strong Vietnamese market knowledge and preferably network
  • Strong communicator both verbal as written
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office
